Back Up Data:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
- To store your account data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account, enable “Back up my data”
- To restore data automatically upon reinstalling apps, make sure “Automatic restore” is enabled
NOTE: App data will be automatically restored when you sign in on your phone with your Google account.
Back Up Contacts:
- Access the “Settings” menu
- Tap “Accounts” and select an account type
- Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”. Your contacts will be backed up / synced with the selected account
NOTE: Contacts will be automatically restored the next time you log in with your Account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Blade D6 to your computer via USB
- Drag the “Status” bar down and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to browse the phone’s files and folders
- Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
- Transfer the files in the desired backup location on your computer
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and disconnect the device from the USB connector
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the ZTE Blade D6 and computer
- Make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to browse the phone’s files and folders
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your PC
- Transfer the files in the first Explorer window on your phone, preferably in the “Media” directory
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the smartphone from the PC
