    Back Up App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Personal”
    4. Tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Enable “Back up my data” to back up account data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    6. To restore app data when re-installing applications, enable “Automatic restore”

    NOTE: Apps will also be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google account, such as after performing a factory reset.

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Swipe to “Accounts”
    3. Choose the account you want to sync contacts with
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method will be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google account (such as after a master reset).

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Axon Pro and computer
    2. Drag the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)”
    3. On the computer, double-click “Open device to view files and folders”
    4. Locate the media files on your smartphone and copy them
    5. Navigate to the desired backup location on your computer and paste the files
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the ZTE Axon Pro to your computer via USB
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)”
    3. On the PC, select to browse the phone’s files and folders in the AutoPlay window
    4. Open the “Media” directory on the phone
    5. Launch a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
    6. Copy the files and transfer them back on your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone’s drive from the system tray, and disconnect the phone

    Enable / Disable Android Anti-Theft:

    NOTE: Anti-Theft is a security feature that when enabled, it will request for your password even when you try to factory reset the device via Recovery. To enable / disable Anti-Theft:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Tap “Security” > “Mobile anti-theft”
    4. If this is the first time you set up the feature, enter an anti-theft PIN (twice) and tap “Next”
    5. Then select a contact as an Emergency contact and tap “Next” > “Done”
    6. Lastly, to turn off Mobile Anti-Theft, follow the steps above and then tap “Turn off mobile Anti-Theft”
