Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the CoolPad Rogue to your computer via USB
- Drag down the “Notification” bar and make sure the phone is connected as a “Disk drive”
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click to “Open folders to view files”
- Access the “Media” directory on the phone
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
- Copy the files and go to the “Media” folder on the phone
- Paste the files in the “Ringtones”, “Alarms”, and or “Notifications” folder(s). (NOTE: if any of these folders are missing you can create and rename them accordingly)
- After the transfer is complete, click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the system tray
- Eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select a ringtone from the list and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable / disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact and tap the “Edit” button shaped like a pencil
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the “Settings” menu
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
- Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired sound from the list
- Tap “OK”
