    Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then, by syncing the account data with the Nexus 6P, you can transfer the contacts to your Android phone.

    1. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
    2. Open iTunes on the PC
    3. In iTunes, click the iPhone to access the summary page
    4. Go to the “Info” tab
    5. Enable “Sync Contacts With
    6. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    7. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one if available
    8. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
    9. Once the sync is complete, register the same Google account on the Nexus 6P and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you’ve used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone, your contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing it on a computer connected to the Internet you can export the contacts in vCard file format.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account
    4. Access “Contacts” and select the ones you want to share
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    6. Once the vCard file is downloaded on the computer, import it to “Google Contacts
    7. Alternatively, skip the step above and instead, connect the Nexus 6P to your computer, transfer the vCard file to the phone storage, and import the contents via “Contacts

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer, you can also rely on third party apps to transfer your contacts without one. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS, which can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

    1. Open the App Store
    2. Install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
    3. Launch the app
    4. Tap “Backup” and wait for the vCard file to be created
    5. Once done, tap “Email” and compose a new email with the vCard file attached to it
    6. Send the email to your own address
    7. Switch to the Nexus 6P and open the email, then download the vCard file
    8. Open “Contacts” on the Nexus 6P, and import its contents via “Contacts

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app available on both iOS and Android, which can be used to transfer contacts and other file types across smartphones via a P2P connection.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Nexus 6P
    3. Launch the app on both handsets
    4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone, and select “Contacts
    5. Choose the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Select a method of transfer. Tapping “Receive” on the Nexus 6P allows you to begin the transfer by entering the code from the iPhone. You can also tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Nexus 6P’s camera
