Back Up App Data:
- Open the apps drawer on the home screen
- Access “Settings”
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
- To back up settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and account data to your Google account, tap “Back up my data”
- To allow your account to restore app data automatically upon reinstalling apps, enable “Automatic restore”
NOTE: Application data will be automatically restored once you sign in with your Google account for the first time, or after a factory reset.
Back Up Contacts:
- Go to the “Settings” menu
- Tap “Accounts”
- Tap the account you want to sync contacts with
- Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”
NOTE: The contacts backed up using this method will be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account for the first time or after a factory reset.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the BLU Vivo Air LTE and PC
- Swipe the “Notification” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media files stored on your phone
- Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the PC
- After the transfer is complete, click the “Mass storage device” icon in the system tray and eject the phone storage
- You can now safely disconnect the smartphone from the USB connector
Restore Media Files From a Windows PC:
- Connect the BLU Vivo Air LTE to the PC via USB
- Make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled on the phone
- Open an Explorer window on the computer and locate the media file backups
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the directories they originate from (“Media” folder etc.)
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
