Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. The, you can sync the account data with the Acer Liquid Z530. To use this method:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer, and click the iPhone to view the device’s summary page
  3. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With
  4. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. After the sync is complete, register the same account on the Acer Liquid, and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you’ve already used the iCloud service on your iPhone and your contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
  5. Click “Export to vCard” and wait for the file to be downloaded on the PC
  6. Import the file to “Google Contacts”, or alternatively skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the Acer Liquid Z530 to your computer via USB, copy the vCard file to the phone storage, and import the file using the “Contacts” app

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can also use third party applications to transfer your contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  3. Launch the app and tap “Backup
  4. After the backup file is done, tap “Email
  5. Compose a new email and make sure the backup file is attached to it
  6. Send the email to your own address
  7. On the Acer Liquid Z530, open the email and download the attached vCard
  8. Use “Contacts” to import the file to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. It uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Acer Liquid Z530
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method, like tapping “Receive” on the Acer Liquid Z530, or tapping “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone
