Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Alcatel Flash 2 to your computer via USB
- Drag the “Notification” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)” if necessary
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files
- Copy the files you want to use for ringtones / notifications, and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” > “Ringtones” / “Notification” / “Alarms” directories
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound” and scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap the desired contact, and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select a ringtone from the list, and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the “Settings” menu on the phone
- Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK”
