Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Warp Elite to your computer via USB
- Drag the “notification” bar down on the home screen
- Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired media files on your PC, and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Notifications” folders in the “Media” directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts stored on the phone storage or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound & notification” under “Device”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification and tap “OK”
