Back Up App Data:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
- To back up settings, account data, Wi-Fi passwords, enable “Back up my data”
- To allow your account to automatically restore data upon app reinstallation, enable “Automatic restore”
NOTE: App data will be restored automatically once you sign in with your Google backup account for the first time, such as after a master reset.
Back Up Contacts:
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “Accounts”
- Select the account you want to use for syncing contacts
- Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”
NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method will be restored automatically once you sign in with your Google backup account for the first time, such as after a factory reset.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between your computer and ZTE Warp Elite
- Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
- Turn on “Media sync (MTP)”
- Open a File Explorer window on the PC and locate the media files on your phone
- Copy the desired files and transfer them on your computer
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Restore Media Files From a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE Warp Elite to your computer via USB
- Swipe the “Notification” bar down and make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
- Launch a File Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
- Copy the desired files, and transfer them back on your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and disconnect the phone from the USB cord
