Transfer Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Afterwards you can sign in with the same Google account on the Lava device, and sync the contacts with your Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC using the Lightning connector
  2. Launch iTunes on the PC
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” tab
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account or, alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. When the sync is complete, switch to the Lava Iris and register the same Google account
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Transfer Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access it on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format to use on the Lava Iris.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your account
  3. Click “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. After the vCard is downloaded on the PC, you can import it using “Google Contacts” or:
  6. Alternatively connect the Lava Iris Atom 3 to your PC and copy the vCard file to the phone storage. Once done, import the file’s contents using “Contacts

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, but alternatively, you can also transfer contacts using third party apps instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup is done, tap “Email
  4. Compose a new email containing the vCard backup file as an attachment
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the Lava Iris Atom 3 and download the email attachment
  7. Open “Contacts” and use the “Import” option to add the vCard to your phonebook

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to transfer contacts without requiring a computer. The app (available on iOS and Android) uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files.

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the Lava Iris Atom 3
  2. Install the same app on the iPhone via the App Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send” again
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method, such as “Receive” on the Lava Iris Atom 3, or “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone
