Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Lava Iris Atom 3 and PC
- On the phone, swipe the “Status” bar down and make sure "Media device (MTP)” is selected
- On the PC, open the File Explorer
- Locate the desired audio files on your computer and copy them
- Transfer the files in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folders on the phone storage
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally you can enable or disable “Also vibrate or calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Access “All Contacts” and select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access the “Settings” menu
- Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Tap the notification sound you wish to use
- Tap “OK” to confirm
