Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Asus Life and your computer
- On the phone’s home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
- Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is turned on
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on your PC and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the Ringtone:
- Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
- Under “Call Ringtones & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can choose to turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts that are stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select a ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Access “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notifications”
- Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired notification
- Tap “OK” to save the changes
