Via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Lava phone.

  1. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and PC
  2. Launch iTunes on the PC and click the iPhone inside iTunes to view the device’s summary page
  3. Access the “Info” tab
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to end. When done, switch to, and register the same account on the Lava Fuel F1
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format to import on the Android device.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the vCard is downloaded on the PC, import it to “Google Contacts”, or skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the Lava Fuel F1 to your PC via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and import it using the “Contacts” app

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, but alternatively you can also use third party apps to transfer your contacts without the need of a PC. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email
  4. With the vCard attached, send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Lava Fuel F1 and open the email, then download the attached vCard file
  6. Open “Contacts” and use the app’s “Import” function to add the vCard to your phonebook

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least, Send Anywhere is another third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the computer
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Fuel F1
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  6. Choose a transfer method. You can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Lava Fuel F1’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the Lava and manually enter the transfer code from the iPhone
