Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Zenfone 2 Deluxe to your computer via USB
  2. On the phone’s home screen, drag the “notification” bar down
  3. In the notification area, make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
  4. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  5. Locate the desired audio files on your PC and copy them
  6. Paste the files in the “Media” directory on your phone, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directory
  7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the Phone Ringtone:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
  4. Tal “Phone ringtone” under “Call Ringtones & Vibrate”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notifications”
  3. Scroll to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
  4. Select the desired notification sound
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
