Block Calls:
- Open the “Contacts” application
- Go to the “All Contacts” tab
- Select the contact you want to block
- Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap “Menu” and enable “All calls to voicemail”
Unblock Calls:
- Launch “Contacts”
- Access “All Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Turn off “All calls to voicemail”
Block Messages:
- Launch the Google “Messenger” application
- Select the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number / contact you want to block
- Tap “Menu” > “People & options”
- Tap “Block (number)” > “OK”
NOTE: The conversation thread will be archived but you will continue to receive messages from the blocked contact (within archives). However, you will no longer receive notifications.
Unblock Messages:
- Open the Google “Messenger” app
- Tap “Menu” > “Blocked contacts”
- Select the contact / number you want to unblock
NOTE: The conversation thread will be removed from archives.
Forward All Calls:
- Launch “Phone”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Call settings” > “Call forwarding”
- Select “Always forward”
- Enter the phone number you want to forward incoming calls to (or tap “Contacts” and select an existing contact)
- Tap “Enable”
Forward Calls (Conditional Forwarding):
- Launch “Phone”
- Tap “Menu”
- Access “Settings” > “Call settings”
- Tap “Call forwarding”
- Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable”, “When busy” or “When unanswered”
- Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, or tap “Contacts” and select from your phonebook
- Tap “Update” / “Enable”
Turn Off Call Forwarding:
- Launch “Phone”
- Tap “Menu” and access “Settings”
- Tap “Call settings” > “Call forwarding”
- Select the forwarding option you want to turn off
- Tap “Disable” to confirm
