Sync iPhone Contacts to a Google Account via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then re-sync the account data, including contacts, with the Alcatel device.

  1. Use the Lightning cable to connect the iPhone to your computer
  2. Launch iTunes
  3. Inside iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” tab
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  8. After the sync is done, register the same Google account on the Alcatel Pop Up and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Using an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account using a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use. To do this:

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Head down to and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, you can perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts”
    • Connect the Alcatel Pop Up to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use the “Contacts” app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications instead. My Contacts Backup is a 3rd party app for iOS which can be used to back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the vCard backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the Alcatel Pop Up, open the email, and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the “Contacts” application

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app (for Android and iOS) you can use to transfer contacts is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without using a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Alcatel Pop Up via the Google Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone, and tap “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Choose a method of transfer. Ex: you can tap “Receive” on the Alcatel device and enter the transfer code from the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Alcatel’s camera to begin the transfer
