Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Blade L5 Plus to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, enable “Media device (MTP)”, otherwise turn on the option from the “Notification” area
- Switch to the computer and open “File Explorer”
- Use the Explorer to locate the desired audio files on your computer and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” folders within “Media”, or “Notifications” under “Audio”
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
- Safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap the icon shaped like a “gear”, next to the current active sound profile
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, you can choose to turn “Vibrate” On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap the “gear” icon next to the current sound profile
- Tap “Default Notification Sound” and select a notification sound
- Press “OK” to apply the changes
