Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the ZTE Axon 7 mini.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Register your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if applicable
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, switch to the ZTE Axon 7 mini and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to the account on a computer with Internet access, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the ZTE Axon 7 mini to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app
  3. Tap “Backup” to create a backup file containing your iPhone contacts
  4. Tap “Email” once done and compose a new email
  5. Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  6. Switch to the ZTE Axon 7 mini and open the email, then download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to transfer contacts, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
  3. Launch the application on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send” again
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone or “Receive” on the ZTE Axon 7 mini, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
