Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the Archos Diamond 2 Plus to your computer via USB
- Turn on “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the files you want to use and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the contact you want to set a ringtone to
- Tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
