Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Connect the ZTE Avid Trio to your computer via USB
- Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Use the Explorer to locate the desired audio files on the PC storage and copy them
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones”/ “Notification” / “Alarms” directories
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and you can safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to use
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification sound” and select the desired notification alert
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change Email Notification Settings:
- Open “Email”
- Tap “Menu” and access “Settings”
- Select the desired email account
- Scroll to “Notification Settings” and tick or clear the “Email Notifications” check box
- Tap “Choose ringtone” and select the desired notification sound
- Optionally, tap the “Vibrate” checkbox to enable or disable vibrations when receiving emails
