Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Archos Diamond 2 Note to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the desired files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folder(s)
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
