Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Allview V2 Viper S.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and access “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is complete, switch to the Allview V2 Viper S and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account so that it can sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the contact you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the PC, follow one of these steps:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to your phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import the file to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to transfer contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email
  4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Use “Contacts” to import the file to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use on Android and iOS is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. On the Android device, go to the Play Store and install the same app
  3. Open the application on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, select a transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone or “Receive” on the Android phone, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
