Sync iPhone Contacts With Google Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the BLU Life Max.
- Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
- Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
- Access the Info section and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure
- Select an existing account and click Apply to begin the sync
- After the sync is done, switch to the BLU Life Max and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Set the account so that it can sync contacts with your Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection, and export the contacts in vCard format for use on the BLU Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings
- Click Export vCard and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer
- Then follow one of these steps:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android device and computer and transfer the vCard to the phone storage. Then import the vCard using Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to transfer contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share contacts via email.
- Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
- Tap Email and compose a new email containing the vCard as an attachment
- Send the email and attachment to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the attached vCard
- Open Contacts and use the app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer various types of files including contacts without requiring a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- On the BLU device, visit the Google Play Store and install the same app
- Launch the application on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Lastly, choose a transfer method such as Generate QR Code on the iPhone or Receive on the Android phone and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
