Sync iPhone Contacts With Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Acer smartphone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the USB cord
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Go to the “Info” section and turn “Sync Contacts With” ON
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or click “Configure” and select an existing account if applicably
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync. Once done, switch to the Acer device and register the same Google account
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings
  5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the PC
  6. Follow one of these steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and use it to import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Acer Liquid Z6 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email” and make sure the vCard backup file is attached
  4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  5. Switch to the Acer device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Launch “Contacts” and import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Acer device via the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the sender device – the iPhone – tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method, such as “Receive” on the Acer or “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
