Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Nitro 55M to your PC via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact and tap “Edit”
- Go to “Menu” and tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
