Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and select the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” directories under the “Media” folder
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, choose to turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot assign custom ringtones to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
