Back Up and Restore App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
- Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google backup account
- Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google account
Back Up and Restore Contacts:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
- Select the account type and account you want to use for contact syncing
- Enable “Contacts” if necessary and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”
NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your backup account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Micromax smartphone to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Use the explorer to locate the media files on the phone storage
- Copy the media files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer storage
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Micromax Bharat 2 to your computer via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folders from where they originate
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
