Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the smartphone to your computer via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder(s)
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification alert sound and tap “OK” to confirm
