Back Up and Restore App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset”
- Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your Google backup account
- Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, passwords, and settings to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account
Back Up and Restore Contacts:
- Open “Contacts”
- Access “Accounts”
- Select an account type and the account you want to use for the backup
- Ensure “Contacts” and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”
NOTE: You can restore contacts by syncing them with your device the next time you sign in with your Google account.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the BLU device to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the BLU R2 LTE to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
