Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the ZTE phone to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” or “Notifications” directories under “Media”
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer and launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification” > “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
