Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Transfer the audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone” and select the notification sound you want to use
- Tap “OK” to confirm
