Back Up and Restore App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Personal”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your account
- Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords when signing in with the backup account or when reinstalling applications
Back Up and Restore Contacts:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Accounts”
- Select an account type and the account you want to use for contacts backup
- Tick the “Contacts” check box if necessary
- Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”
NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you log in with the backup account and syncing the account data with the phone.
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the BLU S1 to your PC via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and transfer the media files from the phone to the desired backup location on the PC
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or form the “Notification” shade
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the backup files on the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) of origin or the “Media” directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
