Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change and tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change Notification Alert Settings:
- Launch “Settings”
- Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound and press “OK” to confirm
