So I have a bit of a situation and I’m not exactly sure what I’m able to do. My mom and I were on a contract with AT&T. We both had an iPhone 5s. The 2 year contract ended september of last year but we continue to use their service afterward. Unexpectedly my mom had to be placed in a facility due to her health and I was left to pay the bill. I couldn’t and the amount of the bill continued to grow. Eventually they cut service and I am left with two phones that I can’t take to another carrier. I don’t understand that because we were out of the contract when this happened. Doesn’t she own these phones now? And am I able to sell them?
