Block Incoming Calls:
- Launch “Contacts”
- Access “All contacts”
- Tap the phone number/contact you want to block
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and enable “All calls to voicemail”
Unblock Calls:
- Open “Contacts”
- Go to “All contacts”
- Select the contact you want to unblock
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Disable “All calls to voicemail”
Block Incoming Messages:
- Open Google Messenger
- Tap the conversation exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to block
- Tap “Menu” > “People & Options”
- Tap “Block [phone number]”
- Press “OK” to confirm
NOTE: The conversation thread and any future messages sent by the blocked contact will be archived. Notification alerts are disabled for archived messages.
Unblock Messages:
- Open Google Messenger
- Tap “Menu” > “Archived”
- Select the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to unblock
- Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive” > “Menu”
- Go to “People & Options” and tap “Unblock [phone number]”
Enable Call Forwarding:
- Launch “Phone”
- Tap “Menu” and access “Settings”
- Go to “Call forwarding” (NOTE: This option might be missing if it isn’t supported by your carrier)
- Enter or edit the phone number/contact you want to use for call forwarding
- Tap “Enable”
Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:
- Open “Phone”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Call forwarding”
- Select to forward incoming calls “When unreachable”, “When unanswered” or “When busy”
- Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
- Tap “Update” / “Enable”
Disable Call Forwarding:
- Open “Phone”
- Tap “Menu”
- Access “Settings”
- Go to “Call forwarding” and if necessary, select the forwarding option you want to turn off
- Tap “Disable” to confirm
