Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” folder
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Go to “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification and tap “OK”
