Use iTunes to Share iPhone Contacts:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to share your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the PC and click the iPhone
  3. Go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync completes, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts
  5. Go to the contacts you want to share and click “Settings
  6. Click “Export vCard” and once done, perform one of the following steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and use “Google Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, use the app to send the vCard to your own email address
  4. Switch to the Android phone and open the email
  5. Download the vCard attachment and import its contents to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on both Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a PC.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. ON the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
