Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Afterwards you can sync the contacts from the account with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. After the process completes, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the process completes, perform one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the contacts to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone Contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Next, use the app to send an email to your own address, containing the vCard file
  4. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
