Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtone” directory
- After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s on-board memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
Change Notification Sounds:
- Go to “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Press “OK”
