Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the smartphone to your computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on your computer
  5. Copy and paste the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” folder
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound & Notification”
  3. Select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, you can disable or enable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to assign
  5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the notification alert you want to set
  5. Tap “OK”
