Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired files and transfer them on to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” folder
- After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Device” and tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the ringtone you want to assign
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit”
- Go to “Menu” > “Set ringtones”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the notification alert you want to assign
- Press “OK” to confirm
