Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device”
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the desired audio files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Device” and access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact, then tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone” and select the desired notification alert
- Tap “OK” to confirm
