Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” directory
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK’
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification alert
- Press “OK”
