Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the desired audio files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Go to “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification alert and tap “OK”
