Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
- Enable “Sync Contacts With” and sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
- Click “Apply” to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to “Contacts”
- Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
- After the process is done, follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and use it to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Write a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone open the email
- Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts. The app is available on Android and iOS and uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts without access to a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
- Tap “Send” and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
