Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Settings”
- Tap and hold the desired contact, then tap “Edit”
- Tap “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtones” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & notification”
- Select the desired notification alert sound
- Tap “OK” to confirm
