Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.
- Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and PC
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync completes, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
- Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Write a new email and attach the vCard
- Send the attachment to your own address
- On the Android phone, launch the email and download the vCard
- Use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app can transfer contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without the need of a computer connected to the Internet.
- Install the app on both phones from the App Store and Play Store respectively
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
