Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC using the USB cord
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Navigate to the audio files on the computer and copy the desired ones
- Paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the device’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “menu”
- Go to “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
Change Notification Alert Sounds:
- Go to “Settings” > “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
