Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync your account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer and access “Info
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With
  4. Log in with the same Google account used in iTunes, or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once the transfer is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. After the process is done, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access, but alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup, available on iOS. The app can share and back up contacts over email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
  4. Send the vCard to your own address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Install the app on the Android phone via the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and choose a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
