Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Notifications” or “Ringtones” folder(s)
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:
NOTE: You can’t assign custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Go to “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change Notification Alerts:
- Open “Settings” and access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification sound
- Press “OK”
